2nd Lesson - Concave cut

We learnt Concave cut today (front is longer than back), the latest cut for ladies. Was rather a short lesson as we finished at 10.30am sharp. Looking forward to the next class as it will be highlighting keke :p

Loitered around at Taman Jurong CC waiting for the rain to stop...Was kind of surprised that S'poreans woke up so early on a Sunday morning, yes on a raining morning, and everyone was so enthusiastic in their activities. Suddenly i felt that i have wasted so many Sundays sleeping away haha! Gosh....

1st lesson - One length cut

Was 5mins late for class this morning but forgive me since it wasn't the usual practice to wake up around 8plus on a Sunday morning (raining still). There are 10 students in the class, youngest around 12 yrs old, oldest around 50, 2 males and the teacher is Anne Tan :p Not any big names in the industry since i'm only learning from a nearby CC keke!

Never know that holding a pair of scissors and a comb in one hand while working on a head can be that hard...Got to hold in style and can't hold the way you want :s

But what makes me excited is that we can do volunteer work in selected homes :) Always wanna try but not sure of the proper channel to do so.

Oh ya, tmr will be my appraisal...Hate this as i think besides the little increment, the whole thing serves no purpose...Anyway, gonna go through that hour or so and see what my boss gonna say...

Sick cat...

Yes i'm ill...Probably due to dehydration from my trip that led to throat inflammation and ultimately serious coughing and mild flu...Endured for 4days but still submit to proper medication prescribed by family doctor today. Guess that age is catching up and i need plenty of rest with a healthy lifestyle.

Was actually quite depressed when i knew the truth from my sis the other day. Shocking + unbelievable initially. While hiding my expression, questions flashed in my mind "How can that be? Can't be true..." The wonderful imagine was tarnished immediately as i know my sis can't be lying...The feeling of learning something bad that you totally unexpect is devastating.

Life's cruel...

Reached S'pore yesterday night and got to know that my Sister buddy's Dad passed away suddenly on the day i departed S'pore. It must be extremely painful for her as she tried to save him but could only watch him gasping for breath and slowly losing it on the eve of her birthday... They are like close friends rather than Father & Daughter and according to my sister, he was a great father who worked very hard to make his family a happy one. Now the role of sole breadwinner falls upon a 23 yr old gal who needs to support her two younger brothers who are still studying.

Life is cruel isn't it? I feel that we are considered fortunate lots and should be contented with what we have. Do treasure everything around us or else we might only live with regrets after losing them. Live to do and not Do to live.

Back 4 Good

A BIG sorry to all loyal fans of SimplyBL as I was experiencing log in problem for weeks and that explained the long wait for my new post :p

Had a slow week but a relaxing weekend. Slept almost the whole day today as i had a serious headache :s Probably due to improper sleeping pose? I hate it when it happens, especially during wkend...Mood's gone...

Oh yah, I collected my new pair of specs today! haha! Went with Shir to Optic Point on Thurs and it was ready in two days! Fast isn't it? My 1st pair of funky looking specs though BUT i don't look funky at all :( Still the same old stern look when wearing specs...Arghhh! I guess i still prefer contact lenses :p Btw, not many people had seen me with specs keke!

Not having the slightest feel of pre-Monday blue now as I'm anticipating the arrival of next week! haha! Horray!
