Astrology

Aries (March 21 - April 19)
Aries is the "I AM" sign of the Zodiac. Often times natives of Aries are like children: "I - me - mine!" In a marriage, you have to think in terms of "we - us - ours." Arians can be very romantic - but only when they get their own way! Therefore, unless other influences offset this tendency, marriage might be difficult for an Aries.

Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
A Taurus moves to the other extreme. This sign is associated with kindness, sensitivity, steadfastness, loyalty, and the ability to give the sort of love that most people only dream of. Taureans are blatantly monogamous, so Taurus is definitely the marrying kind. Unless you feel stifled by closeness, a Taurus would make an excellent spouse.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
Gemini can go either way. Oddly enough, the best mate for Gemini is a nother Gemini, because only people like them can understand their quirkiness and unpredictability. When asked how he and his wife Dolores, a Gemini, remained married for decades, Bob Hope, also a Gemini, replied: "All four of us get along great."

Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
A Cancer is well suited to marriage, because Cancers like to care for others, and can be very compassionate and nurturing. They love children, and are very much concerned with their welfare. They are sensitive and intuitive, and can sense what their spouses need. The only problem might be that they smother with their love instead of providing support.

Leo (July 23 - August 22)
Leo is a born romantic, and loves pomp and ceremony, so Leos are definitely cut out for marriage. Where romance is concerned, Leos aretotally capable of playing the role of the devoted, adoring lover. Once they're involved, when it comes to the one they love the most in the world, they suddenly become steadfast, loyal, and adoring partners.

Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
Virgo being the sign of the Virgin, many assume that a Virgo is into chastity and thus not interested in marriage. Actually, this is rarely the case. Virgo is an earth sign, and thus can be quite sensuous and earthy. Virgos are born caregivers and so they enjoy being married. Don't pass on a Virgo because of the myth.

Libra (September 23 - October 22)
As this is the sign that rules marriage, Librans are definitely cut out for it. They're capable of making the associated adjustments, and of sacrificing some of their own desires to accommodate their beloved. They're also very romantic! Librans tend to define themselves by their relationships, and thus they don't feel complete without one.

Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpios are very highly sexed and very much into identifying with their partners on a very deep level. Yet at the same time, they have a desperate need for occasional solitude. Scorpios are often inscrutable and secretive, and don't often reveal much of themselves. Yet if you want a passionate and loyal partner, Scorpio is it.

Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)
A Sagittarius is very idealistic, and prefers marriage to more casual relationships. Yet they often expect their mates to do what they want to do, and aren't always willing to compromise. They tend to be free-spirited, with ideas of living an unfettered life, and like to be free to come and go as they please. This isn't always easy for their partners.

Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorn has a predilection for the traditional family structure - mother, father, children - with the father as provider and thus as "theboss". They will never turn their back on a family member in need. However, they do tend to expect love partners to follow THEIR rules. Therefore, they are a mixed bag when it comes to marriage.

Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)
An Aquarius can be a great marriage partner as long as they have a lot of freedom. Even on ce they're married, they never truly become domesticated, and may want to go out without their spouse at least twice a week. But this doesn't mean they don't adore their partners. In fact, the more freedom their partners give them, the more devoted they are.

Pisces(February 19 - March 20)
Pisces dreams from childhood of the charming prince marrying the beautiful princess and living happily ever after. They carry this ideal into their adult relationships. If you have fallen for a Pisces - which is easy - make sure they're aware that you are NOT some kind of perfect being. If they love your faults as well as your virtues, you've found a jewel!

A feeling closest to Heaven

The weather was definitely hostile this morning as dark and heavy clouds covered the entire sky. Was quite unwilling to wake up and was even thinking about faking MC but Mum pulled me straight out from my bed....

I was racing aginst time, praying hard that it won't rain till i step into the office. BUT fat hope.....Drizzle turned into heavy downpour when i was about to leave the house. Shit!!!! Hate it when Mr Rain visits during early mornings, especially weekdays because it is quite a distance from the bus stop to my office and the damn pavement is FOREVER flooded during rainy days (poor drainage system)...arrrghhh! No choice, got to brave the rain....

While waiting for my bus, something caught my attention. A RAINBOW in the middle of the road?!?!? I thought my eyes were playing tricks hence i blinked several times and YES, it's a RAINBOW!!! OMG....Amazing isn't it? I was simply elated and on cloud nine! If you have watched the 10pm show at Channel U ("Ge Shi Ziu Xiong"), you might ponder on the creditably of touching a rainbow but now i can confirm that you can even walk through one! haha! :) Too bad i have no time to do that because the bus came shortly....

All is not gone because along the way to the interchange, i was hoping to see another miracle and indeed i was lucky enough to see sparkling diamond-like raindrops dripping from the railings! Very beautiful~ Another Wow~ This reminded me of a song- "What a Beautiful World"... Sometimes i wonder that heartlanders do miss out alot of stuffs in life. If one were to slow down his/her pace, he/she might have a totally different experience, an experience that $$ can't buy....

A dream that never come true...

More often than not i would find noisy kids onboard irritating and will naturally volume up my FM radio to 'cover' the annoying ear drum piercing scream, weep and laughter. However the sight of two siblings caught my attention today and i actually turned down the volume just to listen to their conversation haha :p. I even had the urge to snap their pic but afraid that their parents will sue me haha!

Each of them was holding a little puzzle book (those word finding puzzles that i used to play in my younger days) and were busy working on it. The smart looking brother was more serious and he would smile to himself whenever he find a matching word while the younger sister was abit restless and kept looking out of the window. After awhile, the sister began to disturb his brother and that's where the interesting part came in.

Sister: "Kor, i'm very cold, can you turn away the aircon cause i can't reach it..."

(i'm very sure she was just trying to catch his brother's attention since she was wearing long sleeves and the aircon wasn't even blowing directly at her :p)

Being a big brother, he did what his sister asked him to and returned to his book again.

Sister: "Kor, how many pages left?"

Brother: "A few only...Don't talk anymore, complete yours before we alight. See, you have so many pages left."

Sister: "Of course you are faster cos there are answers behind yours but not mine mah..." (cheeky :p)

(Brother ignored sister and again, she tried her luck to strike another conversation.)

Sister: "Kor, how come there's water outside the window? I can't wipe it off leh..."

Brother: "This is because the water condenses and become vapour and furthermore the interior is colder than the exterior so you can't touch the vapour."

(I got to take my hat off to the 7/8 yr old kid! He was so patient and explained in details, with actions to his sister, not knowing if that makes any sense to the 4/5 year old girl.)

I always have a dream and that's to have a elder brother. Yes, i'm the elderest in the family and some of you might ask, why not elder sister? Well, i just hope for a elder brother haha! That is because he can protect me when in danger, pacify me when i cry, adore me EVERYTIME, fight back for me when i'm being bullied, educate me and tell me facts & stories keke! But this dream will never come true...I told Mum about it but she said i'm too kiasu...Rushed to be the 1st to born! Hmm...Lame...haha! As if i have a choice yea...LOL
