The day that we have long waited has finally arrived! KRABI! Woke up at 4.55am (thanks to Shir for the 20mins ‘advanced’ morning call), did my last min check on my luggage and set off to Budget terminal at 5.45am.

Reached Krabi around 9.30am (S’pore time) and went for the half day complimentary trip to Tiger cave temple, jewellery shop & Krabi Town shopping centre since we were pretty early and couldn’t check in yet.
At last, we ended our uneventful complimentary trip at 12 noon and checked in to Ao Nang Villa Resort keke! Serene surrounding and surprisingly enough, we were the ‘rare species’ here as 99% are Caucasians (no joke)!

Ok, time for the beach! It was just a 3mins walk from our doorstep but the sky looked abit unfriendly when we stepped out :(

Somehow it was either culture shock or we are just too mountain tortoise as we were taken aback by Caucasians wearing just bikinis or swimming trunks wherever they go! On the streets, shops, restaurants, everywhere (lying naked on the beaches even).They are just so cool….oblivious of others, in their own world I guess haha! While we Asians are simply too conservative and we mind a lot of how others see and think of us, agree?

We signed up for the full day Phi Phi Island tour via speedboat. There were 6 stopovers (Bamboo Island, Phi Phi Don, Loh Samah Bay, Peh Leh Bay, Maya Bay & Monkey Beach) for sunbathing, swim and snorkelling.

It was a fantastic experience where countless of colourful fishes swim around you! You could even see what’s underneath the crystal clear 2 metres deep greenish water, splendid! I will definitely do it again :p

After a day of sun tanning, snorkelling, swim, photo taking, we decided to continue straight after our quick shower back in our resort at 6plus- SHOPPING! Haha! Since it was our last night at Ano Nang Villa, we wanted to stay up late hence we decided to laze by the pool for stars gazing. Wow~ Beautiful...The pitch dark sky is filled with millions of twinkling stars!

We slept till 9plus and did our packing. It’s always sad on the last day of a vacation especially if you love the place so much! To cheer up, we pampered ourselves with the traditional Thai massage, pedicure & manicure before our pick up at 3.30pm.
Overall I like Krabi and will go back again :) Not because the place is filled with Ang Mo but it’s just so beautiful and not as commercialised as Phuket. But if you are in for shopping, Krabi isn’t the place for you as the stuffs there are pretty expensive (3-4 times more compare to Bangkok or Phuket). Krabi is more of a place to relax your mind and enjoy the sun & beaches :)
