"Turn back Time...."

September is fast coming to an end and October is obliviously around the corner! Without realising, December will be soon be saying "Hi"?! :s Can time just travel abit slower so that we can have ample space to breathe and not being caught off guard at its alarming speed....*Wishful thinking* Aobishi~ Back to reality!!

Met up with an old friend today for lunch but surprisingly we only met like thrice since we knew each other?! All over lunches. Only then i realised that how merciless time is as our last met up was like 1 year ago yet it felt like only few weeks ago?! OMG! Both of us didn't change much (that's the beauty of having baby faces LOL :p) but he claimed that he aged alot haha! *Hei Dude, don't worry, you still look as good :)*

Next Friday is Mooncake festival....When was the last time you celebrated? Or did it ever come across your mind when it's here? Was chatting away with Ping on MSN earlier and once again we realised how time flies.....haha! Still remember two years ago when the nutties actually played candles & lanterns at one of the Bt Batok playground after project on mid-autumn festival? Kind of fun though since we don't have many chances like this to play with fire so openly w/o being interrogated :p hehe! Have FUN~

Sucky Week

I believe you will have no problem imagining how it feels like being arrowed on a MONDAY MORNING by some dumb asses on trivial matters?!? Gosh, sucky of course!! Monday blueness is demoralising enough and not to mention to begin with them pint pointing at you for tasks that aren't even your responsibilities! What can i say since i'm the most junior staff there and they are like the 'pillars' of the whole company?! Without them, the company will 'collapse' any time!?! Can anybody just do some justice and get rid of these pests and make the working environment a better one?? *chill chill, keep my cool....*

Infact this isn't all that make up my sucky week...So far, things aren't going smoothly for me and unexpected issues keep giving me endless surprises, unpleasant ones. A mixture of anger, disappointment, unfairness, betrayal, sadness blah blah blah.....Hopefully things will get better as the days go by....*fingers crossed*

Midweek Updates

Haven't been blogging for quite sometime and yesterday when i met up with Fang to watch "The Host", she asked me to write something soon (no choice, one of my die hard fans hehe :p).

Oh yah, talking about "The Host", my initial thought was "gotta be another horror movie..." which is always on my top list but in the end, both Fang and I laughed throughout the whole show (except several scenes of death)! Probably it was due to the expression of the lead actor or his clumsiness that inject humour to this 'horror' show haha! I guess this movie was indirectly criticizing The States for being oblivious of situations and yet stepping in to interfere at times. And in the end, the credit goes to them for doing nothing! Well that's my personal opinion about this show but overall a worthwhile movie to watch if you need a good laugh :)

Moral story of "The Host": Be a social responsible person keke~

º¥ Thank you Lao Shi ¥º

Hereby wishing all noble teachers out there a very HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY!!! Today is a day to show our gratitude to those who have created positive impact and led us towards the right path in life. Some may have forgotten who they are, some may even forget that today is Teachers' Day but definitely not me :p I have a few person in mind who i want to commemorate on this special day.

Firstly, my dearest mummy!! Yeah hehe! Even though she's not teaching in schools and neither does she know English, it was her who taught me through my younger days and i managed to come in top in class for a couple of times (*blush blush*). Amazing isn't it but it happened to me :) She would called my cousins every night w/o fail to ask for the pronunciation of every single words, jotted them down and revised with us (no joke). Wow........Mothers are noble huh (3 cheers to all) *Hei we are talking about Teachers' Day not Mothers' Day! :p* P.S: I love you Mummy~

Secondly, my P1 form teacher cum English teacher, Mrs Annamalai. Yes, an Indian lady whom my mum wanted to asked for a transfer initiately when she knew that she was going to teach us as i weren't well versed in English then. She persuaded my mum to let me stayed in her class as i would ultimately pick up English from there, a good learning ground she meant and indeed it was! A rather gentle and soft spoken patient teacher who never vent her anger unnecessarily especially when we were a bunch of monkeys! haha! Saw her several times on the MRT and almost can't recognise her as she aged alot....Wondering why i didn't approached her there then? Perhaps i'm simply too shy or that i just want to admire her from far :) Thank you Mrs. Annamalai.

Thirdly, my P5&6 form teacher cum Math teacher Mrs Yee! My first impression of her is "Wow this dancing lady is full of energy and laughter!" Cool~ She's the one who inspired me to love Math as i was pretty weak in this beautiful subject then. An approachable teacher who i turned to when i encountered problems. Same thing, saw her a few times BUT i have talked to her once when both of us weren't rushing for time :) Thank you Mrs Yee.

Actually i have a rather long list of names who i want to thank to. Example: Mrs Ng (P4 form teacher), Mr BL Tan (P3 science teacher who loves to bring us on excursion keke), Mrs Lai (P6 chinese teacher who believes that i could score with flying colors), Mdm YC Ho (Sec 3&4 chinese teacher who also have high hope on me), Mr Mickey Hee (Advertising lecturer from MIS who is humourous but has a high vocal :p), Ms Khoo Gee Ka (Advertising lecturer from MIS as well and an experienced lady who is really passionate about her work), etc......All in all, i would like to say a big THANK YOU!
