Goodbye 2006, Welcome 2007!

In less than an hours time, 2006 will be history and 2007 will march in with a big bang! This year i'm spending my last day of 2006 at home, not with the crowd though :) Not that no one asked me out for celebrations or i was intimidated by last year's bad experience when heading home, just that i wish to stay at home, away from the sea of people and spend some quality hours with myself, yes with myself ~ reflecting.

Hmm what have i achieve in 2006 so far? Well, besides obtaining a degree, i guess nothing else significant...pathetic huh? But i guess, staying in the pink of health is more than any great accomplishments in life? *Good health is good wealth* Haha! Yah i have done that by exercising at least once a week, avoiding sinful food (exclusive of special occasions :p), drinking sufficient water and eating fruits everyday :)

If you ask me if i have any resolutions for 2007, seriously i'm still thinking :p Shall update by tmr, haha! Anyway, hereby wishing everyone out there a fruitful year to come and may you stay healthy always!

~HAPPY NEW YEAR~

New Love

Recently i've found 'someone' to kill time with, yes my new love!! Thanks to my sis who extended her helping hands last week and i think i will never get sick of it until the very end :p Hei, don't get mistaken so fast cos it's the "Death Note" comics i'm referring to! haha!

Initiately when my sis was reading it a few mths ago, my sixth sense told me that it MUST be a boring series as neither the cover, nor the first page interest me...Until i watched the movie and i simply can't wait for the 2nd episode to show in cinema this 28 Dec! I like the plot and i think it's beautifully planned. Remember, i love thrillers :) **so don't ever judge a book by its cover as you might just miss a good book**

Oh yah, talking about movies, Saw III is highly recommended :) Another good one asides from the bloody + gross scenes. Twisted ending and a meaningful message to be conveyed. Overall, 4 thumbs up!!!!

Be Thankful...

~@ Life is A Gift @~

Today before you think of saying an unkind word, think
of someone who can't speak.

Before you complain about the taste of your food,
think of someone who has nothing to eat.

Before you complain about your husband or wife, think
of someone who's crying out to God for a companion.

Today before you complain about life, think of someone
who went too early to heaven.

Before you grumble about your dirty house, or about
someone who didn't clean or sweep, think of the people
who are living in the streets.

Before whining about the distance you drive, think of
someone who walks the same distance with
their feet.

And when you are tired and complain about your job,
think of the unemployed, the disabled and those who
wished they had your job.

Before you think of pointing a finger or condemning
another, remember that not one of us is without
wrongdoings.

And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down, put
a smile on your face and be thankful you're alive and
still around!
